Meet Cherri Bornman

Cherri Bornman is a worship leader, speaker, writer, and founder of Welcome to the Table, a ministry dedicated to helping women find healing, connection, and purpose through Biblical hospitality. With more than 30 years of experience leading worship, speaking, and serving in ministry, Cherri has a deep passion for equipping women to embrace their God-given gifts, reconnect with the Lord, and build meaningful relationships.

A gifted teacher and communicator, Cherri has spent decades teaching music, mentoring musicians, and leading worship in churches, conferences, and retreats. She is a licensed Musikgarten instructor, an experienced choir director, and the owner of Cherri’s Heartsong Studio, where she teaches piano, voice, and ensemble groups. Her ability to blend music and teaching creates a unique and engaging worship experience that ministers to the heart.

As a writer, Cherri is a member of Word Weavers International and a graduate of Christian Speakers Bootcamp, equipping her to share biblical truths in a way that is both compelling and transformative. She has created digital workbooks to support her ministry and is currently pursuing the publication of her first book. Through writing, speaking, and hosting intentional gatherings, she helps women create spaces of welcome, healing, and deep spiritual growth.

Cherri lives in rural Michigan with her husband of 25 years, Cornelius, and their three daughters, Abby, Becca, and Jaelle. A coffee enthusiast and lover of authentic conversation, she finds her greatest joy in creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, and empowered to walk boldly in their calling.
